Prior to conjugation, immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Molar enzyme/antibody protein ratio is 4:1.
By immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA this antibody reacts specifically with rabbit light chain. This antibody may cross react with other species.
Additional Product Information
IgG is the primary immunoglobulin protein found in blood/plasma, and functions to neutralize toxins, active complement, immobilizing pathogens and inducing opsonization, and cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Anti-light chain antibodies are manufactured specifically to interact with the light chain of the IgG and excluded antibodies able to bind to the heavy chain.
