Rabbit anti-PPP3CA IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00486 maps to a region between residue 470 and the C-terminus (residue 521) of human Protein Phosphatase 3, Catalytic Subunit, Alpha isoform using the numbering given in entry NP_000935.1 (GeneID 5530).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PPP3CA immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00486-T maps to a region between residue 470 and the C-terminus (residue 521) of human Protein Phosphatase 3, Catalytic Subunit, Alpha isoform using the numbering given in entry NP_000935.1 (GeneID 5530).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
PPP3CA encodes the protein phosphatase 2B (PP2B) alpha catalytic subunit. PP2B, also known as calcineurin, is a holoenzyme that is comprised of a catalytic subunit associated with regulatory subunits. PP2B is a calcium regulated enzyme that is activated by calmodulin and participates in the signaling cascades involved in development of the nervous, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal systems.
Alternate Names
calcineurin A alpha; calmodulin-dependent calcineurin A subunit alpha isoform; CALN; CALNA; CALNA1; CAM-PRP catalytic subunit; CCN1; CNA1; IECEE; IECEE1; PPP2B; protein phosphatase 2B, catalytic subunit, alpha isoform; protein phosphatase 3 (formerly 2B), catalytic subunit, alpha isoform; protein phosphatase 3 catalytic subunit alpha isozyme; serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2B catalytic subunit alpha isoform
Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with tris-EDTA pH9.0 buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
