Rabbit anti-GTSE1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-425A maps to a region between residue 670 and 720 of human G-2 and S-phase expressed 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_057510.2 (GeneID 51512).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to GTSE1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-425A-T maps to a region between residue 670 and 720 of human G-2 and S-phase expressed 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_057510.2 (GeneID 51512).
Additional Product Information
GTSE1 (G-2 and S-phase expressed 1) is only expressed in the S and G2 phases of the cell cycle, where it colocalizes with cytoplasmic tubulin and microtubules. In response to DNA damage, GTSE1 accumulates in the nucleus and binds the tumor suppressor protein p53, shuttling it out of the nucleus and repressing its ability to induce apoptosis [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (GeneID: 51512)].
Alternate Names
B99; G2 and S phase-expressed protein 1; G-2 and S-phase expressed 1; GTSE-1; protein B99 homolog
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
