Rabbit anti-ARID1B Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody [BLR291L]
Product Details
Specifications
Immunogen was a peptide representing a region between residue 1400 and 1450 of human AT-rich interactive domain-containing protein 1B using the numbering given in entry NP_059989.3 (Gene ID 57492).
Additional Product Information
The SWI/SNF-related, matrix-associated, actin-dependent regulators of chromatin (SMARC), also called BRG1-associated factors (BAFs), have been identified as components of the human SWI/SNF-like chromatin-remodeling protein complexes. SWI/SNF complexes possess ATPase and DNA helicase activity that promotes transcriptional activation of genes normally repressed by chromatin structure. ARID1B is a noncatalytic subunit that is a member of the ARID (AT-rich interactive domain-containing protein) family of DNA binding proteins. ARID1B is encoded by a gene independent from ARID1A and exhibits functionally distinct characteristics.

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
